St. Peter's Parish Choir
The RSCM affiliated Parish Choir sings at all 10am Parish Communion services on Sunday mornings, as well as other special services which take place in our church. We are a friendly group of fourteen people who love to sing. We now meet at 6.30 on Thursday evenings to rehearse hymns and anthems for upcoming services. We would like to build up the choir and so are looking for new enthusiastic members to join, who enjoy singing to the glory of God. We are particularly looking to expand our alto, tenor and bass sections. In May 2013, the Parish Choir took part in the Sing for Sussex Hymnathon at Chichester Cathedral, where through sponsorships we raised over £1000 for The Friends of Sussex Hospices. The St. Peter's Concert Choir is an augmented choir consisting of the Parish Choir, along with a number of volunteers. The Concert Choir normally sing at concerts held in the church, as well as major services such as at Christmas. If you are interested in taking part in singing but are unable to commit all year round, this could be for you! To find out more about joining the Concert Choir, please contact the Organist and Director of Music.
